Calico Rudasil is a feature columnist for Sssh.com, the award-winning porn site for women & couples. With over 18 years’ experience under her belt, writing about and for the adult entertainment industry, Calico qualifies as something of a Web Porn Dinosaur; similar to a tyrannosaurus, only with far more attractive arms and a less pronounced overbite.

I haven’t taken the time to count the films themselves, but based on the number of television commercials I’ve seen promoting movies starring Kevin Hart, I’d estimate there’s approximately 300 million of them – not nearly enough of which costar Ice Cube.

As you’ve no doubt heard by now, there’s at least one more Kevin Hart video available than even the diminutive funnyman himself would
like there to be – and I’m not talking about a highlight reel of his best moments in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

And given the nature of the video and the attention it has garnered, I’m guessing Kevin’s wife prefers all his other performances (yes, even Little Fockers) to this latest release.

Infidelity Is Wrong; Extortion Is Wrong AND Criminal
While a part of me has a very tough time feeling sorry for a married man who gets caught messing about with someone other than his wife, I’m not in favor of anyone being extorted, with the possible exception of Martin Shkreli. (Seriously, fuck that guy, even if he may be nuts.)

I also think it’s extra nasty for the person behind the extortion, whomever it may be, to add insult to injury by tying Hart’s recent charitable efforts to help with Hurricane Harvey relief to the video by claiming it’s a PR move designed to take attention away from the scandal.

“The real reason Kevin Hart orchestrated the Texas Hurricane Relief Fund, this so-called good deed was done to get ahead as he knew this damaging footage was one click away from being exposed as the liar and cheater he is,” the extortionist said, per TMZ. “Kevin Hart was privy to me wanting to expose him as I have made countless attempts to expose this information to various blogs, in an attempt to also get paid.”

In a word, classy.

Strange We’re Not Hearing More Of The Usual Revenge Porn Line
Perusing the comments on the stories about Hart’s scandal (an act which goes against my better judgment), I’m struck by how many of them are focused on attacking the woman depicted in the video – especially as it’s not clear she’s part of the attempt to extort him.

Odd, isn’t it, that whenever a woman is targeted with revenge porn, many people are apt to immediately blame the victim (“Well, she shouldn’t have allowed the nude photo to be taken in the first place”), but when Kevin Hart gets caught messing around on his wife, he gets more sympathy?

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not saying people should uniformly be critical of Hart. I’m just saying the next time a female revenge porn victim’s story hits the news, maybe people could throw more shade the way of her tormentor, instead of acting like she deserved to be miserable because a nude image of her made its way into the public eye against her will.

In Case I Haven’t Equivocated Enough Already…
I realize I’m probably coming off as wishy-washy as fuck right now, but having already bemoaned the vitriol aimed at Montia Sabbag, I must admit there are parts of her story which sound a little off to me, too.

It’s not a particularly important point, but it is a bit of an eyebrow-raiser when someone flatly denies being a stripper, but also possesses an adult entertainment license issue by the state of Nevada. It’s also a little strange to vehemently deny being an extortionist, but not address the allegation you previously demanded $420,000 to take a polygraph test.

Oh fuck it; I can’t decide whether I believe any of these people, think they’re completely full of shit, deserve a heavy dose of embarrassment, or just be allowed to get on with their lives without having a TMZ reporter embedded in their front yards.

All I know is I’m not reading any celebrity-sex-scandal-related stories ever…. Or until the next one is published, whichever comes first.
